for People with Learning Disabilities
At St Andrew’s, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to hear the Good News about Jesus. With this in mind, the Good News Group meets on Wednesdays in the church building to hear the Good News about Jesus in a straightforward, uncomplicated way. We welcome people with learning disabilities, together with the people who support them, to come and join in the group activities.
The group meets on most Wednesdays in term time, from 5.30pm-7.15pm. We do craft, activities, jigsaws, play dominos etc followed by a light tea. We end the meeting with a short service at 6.30pm which includes Bible teaching, songs, drama, and prayer all focusing on the Good News about Jesus.
The Good News Group is affiliated to 'Causeway Prospects'.
